Built in 2002 as the little brother of Helsinki´s Hartwall Arena, the Varuboden Areena in Kirkkonummi celebrates its glorious 20th anniversary in the fall of 2022. Concerts (Antti Tuisku, J. Karjalainen, Kari Tapio etc.), fairs and gala events, Amin Asikainen´s boxing match, opera, ice hockey and floorball TV matches etc. have been organized there during the past 20 years. The colorful history Varuboden Areena and Kirkkonummi will be published as a book in September 2022.
